As a registered financial professional with AXA Advisors, LLC, I am committed to helping my clients work toward their financial goals for themselves, their families and their businesses by assisting them with making smart financial decisions.

I specialize in risk management and retirement income strategies, which include strategies for Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, Retirement Distribution Planning, and Deferred Compensation Modeling for the highly compensated.

I offer a free consultation and/or review of your current situation with the understanding there is no obligation. Rather than just recommending a combination of unrelated products, first I will consider your specific goals and objectives. Working together, we will formulate a strategy to help you address your concerns and reach your goals.

To stay on top of my field and develop my professional skills, I regularly attend industry training and certification programs. This includes completing the curriculum and passing the exams for:

• FINRA Securities Registration: Series 7 and Series 66
• Life and Health Insurance Producers License

On a personal note, I was born and raised in the Springfield Il. area and attended Auburn High School.  After high school I attended Southern Illinois University at Ewardsville from 1979 -1983.  I remained in the St. Louis area for thirteen more years until returning to the Springfield area in 1996.  My family and I missed central Illinois and the country living.  I reside in New Berlin on a few acres with my wife, Terry and son, Samuel; along with a few family pets.  We also have a daughter, Bailey, attending her junior year of college in Missouri. 

Hobbies include:  Sam's activities, Bailey's activities, golf, reading, watching the history and learning channels, and enjoying family life in the country.

Working with charities and giving back to the community is very important to me. My philanthropic activities and professional affiliations include:

• Chairman of the Derek Dolenc Cancer Patient Assistance Fund at Memorial Medical Center’s Regional Cancer Center
• Chairman of the Derek Dolenc Memorial Foundation
• Chairman of the Derek Dolenc Memorial Golf Tournament
• Member of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce
• Committee Member and volunteer of various Non-for-Profit charity golf tournament events
